Professional foundations
Born in Kyiv in 1956, Ivan’s early professional work involved economic and trade analysis. Following Ukraine’s independence, his career developed in international financial advisory and private capital, with an increasing focus on cross-border financial relationships.
These experiences formed the professional foundation for his subsequent coordination of the family’s investments and its relationships with external advisers.
Bringing the family’s affairs together
In 2006, Ivan began bringing the family’s investments, cash planning and professional advisers into a more coordinated structure. This work created a foundation for considering investment decisions alongside financial commitments and the family’s wider priorities.
He established the family office in 2010, providing an ongoing framework for investment oversight, financial planning and the coordination of specialist advice.
A considered transition
Su began supporting investment research and records in 2017. After moving to Los Angeles in September 2020, she took on broader cross-border coordination responsibilities.
The phased handover of day-to-day management began in January 2021. In January 2022, Su formally became Head of Family Office. This was a succession in leadership within the existing office.
Continuing involvement
Ivan continues to provide advice and participate in discussions concerning major family decisions. Su leads the office’s daily activities and coordinates its investment, financial and professional advisory work.
His continuing involvement provides a connection between the office’s origins, the experience behind its development and the next generation’s responsibilities.
